Adam's Rib

Adam's Rib was formed in 1997 by guitarist/vocalist Derek Lathrop. Following the release of the debut CD "Scenes from a Corner Store," which was written, performed, engineered and produced by Derek, he assembled a band and spent the next two years in a series of cross-Canada tours which included TV and radio appearances, a slew of festivals and club dates, and some insanely wild gatherings with the locals. 

The addition of keyboardist/vocalist Tamara Allers in 2000 marked a turning point for the band.

Three CDs followed, and the band has toured extensively, sharing billing with major artists including Santana, Sting, Stevie Nicks, Nickelback, and Judas Priest. Adam's Rib is currently finishing work on a new release, "Pushing Forward Looking Back." 

In 2001, the band began performing winter stints for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and have become one their most popular acts, performing on board the line's most prestigious ships.

Adam's Rib is Derek Lathrop on lead vocals , guitar, and flute; Tamara Allers on keyboards and vocals; Carlos Arevalo on bass and vocals; and Neal Burstyn on drums and vocals.
